PRESIDENT SENDS CONDOLENCE ADDRESSES

Armenian President Robert Kocharyan sent an address of condolences today to the family of Khachatryans which reads as follows: “I was informed about renowned Armenian artist Rudolph Khachatryan’s death with great sorrow. His works of art have presented inspiration and encouragement with their originality to the Armenian and foreign art-lovers for decades.

I present my condolences to Rudolph Khachatryan’s family, relatives and the supporters of his art.”

The president has also made another address of condolences to the family of Hovnanyans conveying his condolences to the family and relatives of Jirair Hovnanyan on account of his death.

“As a member of benevolent family of Hovnanyans, Jirayr Hovnanyan was a worthy successor of the Armenian benevolent traditions who engaged in effective work both in the motherland and in the Diaspora,'' the address says.
