The Armenian artist Rudolf Khachatourian, who enjoys great renown and respect in the Soviet Union, passed through Montreal on Monday, 7 October, on his way to Detroit. Mr. Khachatourian is to show his works in Detroit and Los Angeles. The Detroit exhibition has been organised by the local St. John the Baptist Church.
During his stay of a few hours the artist visited the Alex Manoogian School and the new centre of the Tekeyan Cultural Association, and then left for Detroit.
